For nearly 70 years,
the Nachand Fieldhouse has been one of Southern Indiana's favorite gathering
places... Today, the Fieldhouse is home to many recreational and educational
sports leagues and continues to hold a special place in the hearts of
many. Built in 1937, the Nachand Fieldhouse is one of the oldest and most
beloved buildings in the region. A facility that has hosted thousands
of high school basketball games during its illustrious history, now hosts
several leagues, clubs and afternoon pool games. Stretching nearly a city
block at 14,000 square feet, the Fieldhouse gives people plenty of room
to walk, play basketball, volleyball, table tennis, air hockey, exercise
on one of many machines, or just a place to sit, enjoy some refreshments,
and watch.
Hours:
Monday through Thursday - 9:000 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday - Closed
Nachand Fieldhouse will be closed July 31 to Sept 2.

The minimum age for independent play during open gym with admission price is 6 years old.
Walking / Jogging
Club
The Fieldhouse offers a 1/14-of-a-mile walking track on the upper level.
This program is great for low key exercise. Incentive awards are given
to club members who increase their mileage.
Twilight Golf Clinic
Experience the wonderful game of golf by signing up for this beginning
golf course. Longtime golf pro Mary Richardson will teach the basics of
golf, from the swing, to the rules, to the safety at this 12 or 6 session
clinic. All participants will receive a T-shirt and prises!
When: Every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 - 11 a.m., beginning June 13
Where: Twilight Golf Course, 5316 E. Highway 62, Jeffersonville
Cost: $50 for 6 sessions or $90 for 12

JPR's Summer Program
Looking for a constructive, fun way for your kids to spend the summer?
Sign them up for our summer program. They'll enjoy supervised recreational
opportunities like swimming, field games, arts and crafts, cookouts and
even fieldtrips (including one to Holiday World!) Plus, your kids will
build character through our Character Discovery Challenge. This six week
program is open to grades first through sixth and begins the second week
of June.

Rental Information
The Nachand Fieldhouse is available for private rental. The public can
rent the fieldhouse for birthday parties, dances or athletic purposes.
All rental fees must be paid with reservation request to secure date.
Fee is $60 per hour (2 hour minimum.)
