For nearly 70 years, the Nachand Fieldhouse has been one of Southern Indiana's favorite gathering places... Today, the Fieldhouse is home to many recreational and educational sports leagues and continues to hold a special place in the hearts of many. Built in 1937, the Nachand Fieldhouse is one of the oldest and most beloved buildings in the region. A facility that has hosted thousands of high school basketball games during its illustrious history, now hosts several leagues, clubs and afternoon pool games. Stretching nearly a city block at 14,000 square feet, the Fieldhouse gives people plenty of room to walk, play basketball, volleyball, table tennis, air hockey, exercise on one of many machines, or just a place to sit, enjoy some refreshments, and watch.

Monday through Thursday - 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday 12:00 to 5:00 pm
Sunday - Closed

Rental Information
The Nachand Fieldhouse is available for private rental.  The public can rent the Fieldhouse for birthday parties, dances, or athletic purposes.  All rental payments must be made 14 days prior to the event.  For more information on rentals, please call.

Whole Facility Rental $60 per hour (minimum of 2 hours)
Main Basketball Court $60 per hour
Carpet Court Only $30 per hour

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on or in park property.
Smoking inside city buildings is prohibited.
