Blizzard Blowout Friday
February 26th
Come out of the cold for this annual all-night event for kids third through eighth grade. The fun begins at the Nachand Fieldhouse. From there, we’ll travel to Iceland Skating Rink, then to Puzzles Fundome! Then cap the night off at Hoosier Bowling Lanes. Transportation is provided. The fun begins at 8p.m. and ends at 7a.m. Cost is $40 per child.
Sticky Finger Cooking Camp Monday
March 22nd
Get sticky making tasty treats! Kids will learn how to make simple recipes and enjoy cooking-related games and activities. Open to children in grades second through fifth. The camp will be held at the Ken Ellis Center from 10a.m.-2p.m. Cost: $20 per child
Spring Adventure Trip Wednesday
March 24th
The fun will start at the Nachand Fieldhouse where we will travel to the Louisville Science and IMAX Center. We will have lunch and games on The Great Lawn and finally explore The Louisville Zoo. We will end the adventure back at the fieldhouse. The trip is open to kids grades 3rd-8th. Participants must bring a sac(sack) lunch. Transportation is provided. Cost: $25 per person.
Fairytale Princess Camp Friday
March 26th
Come have fun with fairy tail magic as we decorate wands, crowns, and have fun with other wonderful princess crafts and games. We’ll also enjoy a Princess Tea Party. Please come dressed in your best princess costume. Bring a sack lunch. Snacks are included. Camp will be held at the Ken Ellis Center from 10a.m.-2p.m. Cost $15 per child.
Say Cheese! Kids Photography Class
May 8th- May 22nd
Classes will teach kids how explore the world of photography and how to use a digital camera. Classes are free and will meet at local parks, on Saturdays, from 11a.m.-12:30p.m. Kids must bring a camera to camp. Their photography will be displayed on the Jeff Parks website. Registration Required!
Summer Program
June 7th-July 16th
This six week summer program will provide your child with many recreational opportunities like; swimming, field games, arts and crafts, cookouts, and Fieldtrips. Plus, your child will build character through our Character Discovery Challenge. The program is open to grades first through sixth and begins June 7th.

Kids-N-Parks

Looking for a fun, free activity your kids will enjoy this summer? Kids-N-Parks is a summer programs in which your kids will enjoy games, crafts and refreshments in our local parks. The program will run Monday-Friday from 10am-noon. Kids who attend 3 of the 4 days will enjoy a private pool party on Fridays at the Aquatic Center. K-1-2 Basketball
An excellent way to introduce your children to the great game of basketball. This league is for boys and girls that are enrolled in kindergarten through the 2nd grade. This is a non-competitive league which focuses on teaching the fundamentals of basketball. Volunteer coaches are always needed. League starts the first Saturday in November.
High School Basketball
This is one of our new additions this year! Both, high school boys and girls can bring their competitive edge to this newly formed fall league to help prepare them for their upcoming high school basketball seasons. Each of the leagues will be played on Sundays and will begin in early September. Please be sure to check with your high school coaches on eligibility issues.
Basketball Tournaments
It is our goal to offer many tournaments throughout 2010, which will accommodate numerous age groups. School teams, recreational teams, and AAU travel teams will all be welcome. Youth 3 on 3 events will be held as well. Start getting excited now, because these tournaments will be a lot of fun and a chance to show your stuff!
Jeff/GRC Baseball and Softball
The Jeff/GRC program is for boys and girls ages 5-16. Tee-Ball, softball, and baseball leagues are offered. Sign-ups are in late January-early February and the season begins in April. For additional information, visit the Jeff/GRC website at www.jeffgrc.org.
Southern Indiana Fall Baseball
This will be the 3rd year that we’ve had numerous students from all over the area continue to play baseball during the fall season. In the past two seasons, as many as 20 different area schools have been represented by players in this league, which consists mostly of high school baseball players. All games are played at Shannon Memorial Park and the league will begin in late August or early September. Football
The Jeff ParksYouth Football League will begin in August with registration and signups taking place in late June and early July. This league is for boys and girls that are enrolled in kindergarten through the 6th grade. Cheerleading is also offered as a part of this league for anyone enrolled in kindergarten through the 6th grade. Whether you want to buckle your chin strap and score a touchdown or cheer your heart out, this league strives to help everyone achieve their dreams. Volleyball
Another new addition this year! We will offer instructional volleyball leagues for different youth age groups during 2010. Our plan is to introduce this during the summer months. More information concerning the youth volleyball leagues will be posted on our website prior to the summer season.
Wiffleball
Kids get ready! A favorite pastime like apple pie and baseball is now here! We are going to offer youth wiffleball leagues and tournaments at some point in 2010. More information concerning the wiffleball leagues and tournaments will be posted on our website later this year.
Dodgeball
Learn the 5 D’s and come on over to experiment with another one of our new additions this year. Grab some of your friends and get ready to show who the best really is! More information concerning the youth dodgeball league will be posted on our website later this year.
2010 All Sports Camp
Our 2nd Annual All Sports Camp will be held in late July and will be open to all students that will be entering grades 2-8. This camp includes instruction on the fundamentals and mechanics that are associated with numerous sports. Instructors for this camp include many coaches from Jeffersonville High School. This is an opportunity for many kids to learn something about a sport that they may have never participated in before.
